My Minecraft Project

 

   For this section of my e-portforlio i am presenting my "Create a minecraft minecraft character" project. I chose this math project because it has my two favorite things in it (besides science), math and minecraft. I also chose this because I feel it to be my greatest achievement in math! Enjoy!

 

Volume

 

Volume for the arms: 2 cubic centimeters.

 

Volume for the body: 4.5 cubic centimeters

 

Volume for the legs: 2 cubic centimeters

 

Volume for the head: 8 cubic centimeters

 

Surface area

 

Surface Area for the head: 3.375 in. squared

 

Surface Area for the body: 1.9685 in. squared

 

Surface Area for the legs: 4.5 in. squared

Reflection

 

    In my opinion, this project was very fun, hard, and really want well with everyones likes. For the measurements part I worked with my friend kyle and it got finished quickly. Although I did not build the 3-D model of my figure I am still getting credit for the rest of the project and even more points because I have two figures that I created online. I think that this project was above and beyond any of Ms. Zaccheo`s other projects because it’s fun, but educational too! This project was awesome and I think the next project will be even more awesome than this one!
