My Elective project is about a bunch of different contaptions I buildt with different partners. Some things that I built are the golf ball scoop, a model ballon powered car, and a sandwich box. Some aspects I had to keep in mind while building these were stability, how waterproof it is, how sturdy it is, and for the sandwich box, how eye catching it is. I will now go into more detail about the contraptions seperatly.
Golf ball scooper
The golf ball scooper was built to be carried 20 something feet, used to pick up a golf ball in a bucket, and then rushed back to the starting point, without dropping the ball. It did not remotly work as it completly fell apart in the race.
Sandwich box
Next up is the sandwich box, the most succesful of the inventions. This product accually won its competition...but we didn't get any pictures of it. We do not even have the blueprints that we used to make it. The description of what it looked like was a small, white box with a logo of a smiling sandwich with a bite in it on the front with our fake company name next to it.
Model Ballon Car
Finally, Last but not least, the ballon car! The ballon car I only have the blueprints for but that's better than nothing right? The ballon car we mad consisted of a balloon, tape, straws, toothpicks, cds, bottlecaps, an thats it.
it was basicly a bottle with a straw going through it to make an axle in the back, and a toothpick to make a frontal axle. on the toothpicks we put the bottle caps and on the straws we put the cds with tape and toothpicks to keep them in place. on top we had a ballon taped on with a tape pull release string to let it run.
